Addresses Wanted: The board of mission is requesting mailing and email addresses of St Peter college students so they can send care packages to all college students before finals at the end of the school year. Join Pastor Ron for a work day in serving: Saturday, March 2, he will be going to Peace
Lutheran Fellowship in Parkersburg, to help remove flooring & do some dry wall work. Contact Pastor Ron if you are interested, must be 18 or older. Each week the food bank uses hundreds of bags for meal packages for the elderly and children. Manna (a hunger awareness organization) at Wartburg College, is partnering with St Peter & other organizations at Wartburg to run a plastic bag drive for the NE Iowa Food Bank. Please save and bring your CLEAN plastic bags to church (from February 19 - March 12 ); there will be a box/container to place the bags in outside the office.
![]() Available in the office now! The daily guidebook is a 30-day devotional to accompany the epic TV miniseries, The Bible. If you are interested in having this resource to enhance your experience, please stop by the office, $10 each. We are in need of a few quilters to help make quilts for our St Peter high school graduates. Please contact Brenda Wolter, 984-5717, if you are interested in helping with this project.
We will be serving a meal at the Catholic Worker House in Waterloo, on March 7th. The Catholic Worker House provides meals to all people in need of a meal. This includes adults and children. We would encourage you to volunteer your time to serve a meal or donate food items to serve. Items needed are hamburger , potato chips, large food service cans of sliced cling peaches, cookies or bars. We usually leave Denver at 5:00 pm to serve and we are back in Denver by 7 or 7:30 pm.
If you are interested and can help in any way, please contact Bev Diercks (279-3819) or Pat Leonhart (984-6082). St. Peter Church will be collecting food and non-food items for the pantry in Oran. The donations needed this month are condiments (ketchup, mustard, honey, mayo, pickles, crackers, etc). Please place your donations outside the office.
